All our rope access courses are run at our purpose built all weather facility in Gt Yarmouth. Courses are run by our own in-house IRATA 3T Trainer, who, with over 20 years experience is one of the most experienced Rope Access Trainers in the country

Our courses have been developed to cover all elements of the IRATA training syllabus and current legislation. There are three operator levels of certification for IRATA personnel. All levels require technicians to pass both written and practical examinations. In addition level 2 & 3 technicians have to have logged at least 1,000 hours of IRATA work at the previous level. The following is a brief summary of each level.
Level 1 - Level 1 technicians are capable of performing a full range of Rope Access techniques on site under the supervision of a Level 3 Supervisor.
Level 2 - a lead technician who is capable of rigging working ropes, undertaking rescues and performing other rope access tasks under the supervision of a level 3 supervisor.
Level 3 - a technician/supervisor who is capable of complete responsibility for work projects; is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of levels 1 and 2; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation; has a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques; holds a current first aid qualification and has knowledge of the IRATA certification scheme.
Technicians at all levels are required to undertake a reassessment every three years following a minimum 2 day course. Technicians who have not worked for a period of 6 months also have to undertake refresher training.
